Week 11c-15c: Goodbye LA Hello Berlin!

The Woodbury Studios are on the upper left of the photo in the "Sharp" building, known to locals as 5 Alexanderplatz, and to former citizens of the GDR as the Ministry of Tourism. Ensconced on the 10th Floor, we have a birds eye view of the construction site below, which we are told is going to be some kind of hotel or something. This image was taken from the Fernsehturm, the ominous TV tower of the former East Germany.

I am taking the month of July to work in Berlin on behalf of Woodbury University. I will be spending 4 weeks teaching Urban Theory and Design Studio to students from LA. Once I return we'll start work again at the job.
